Join Friends of Africa from the 8th – 11th August 2019 as we take on the 4 peaks of Ireland Challenge.

Conqueror the 4 peaks!

This well known challenge starts in Kerry with Carrauntoohil (1,038m) then up to Mayo where we take on Mweelrea (814m) from there we head east to Wicklow to tackle Lugnaquilla (850m) and finally we make our way North to finish with Slieve Donnard on the Sunday.


We need teams of 5 people to sign up to this epic Irish challenge – each team will have 4 climbers and one driver who will take the team around the country. FOA team will be in place to handle all the logistics, food accommodation and health and safety on route.

Registration for the event is £120 per person which covers 3 nights accommodationbreakfast and packed lunchmountain guidessupport with fundraisingspecial edition 4 peaks FOA Jersey.


We have set £2000 per team as a minimum fundraising target to reach. All monies raised will go to support the Mission of FOA in our partner countries (excluding £120 registration fee).

Who can participate?

This event is open to everyone over the age of 18, we are especially hoping people involved with FOA over the past 20 years will get involved.

This challenge is geared at people with a moderate fitness level, previous hillwalking is not essential and FOA will organise some practice walks prior to the event.
