FOA’s most action packed fundraiser yet

This year, to raise vital funds for our projects in our partner countries South Africa, Tanzania and here in Ireland, we will be taking on the majestic Achill Island in our most action packed fundraiser yet. We have planned this challenge to be as accessible as possible, whilst a good level of physical fitness is required, there is plenty of time between now and July to get to the level required to complete and really enjoy this new challenge!

The Details

Set against the stunning backdrop of Achill Island, this triathlon-style fundraiser is Friends of Africa’s most exciting challenge yet.

Good physical fitness is required as you will be cycling, hiking, and kayaking your way through the island.

Date: Arrive Friday 12th July at 6 pm.

Challenge takes place on Saturday 13th July.

BBQ and celebrations to take place on Achill Island on Saturday 13th July, departing Sunday 14th July.

Whats included: Two nights hostel accommodation on Achill Island, bike and canoe hire, guides, full board.
