The Board of Trustees of Friends of Africa acknowledge their overall responsibility for financial scrutiny and effectiveness. The Board has established a process of compliance which addresses the responsibility to maintain, review and report on all internal controls, which includes financial transparency. This system includes financial controls, which enable the Board to meet its responsibility for the integrity and accuracy of FOA’s accounting records, providing transparency of the operations of the organisation to all donors to the organisation.
